This was a charming book about the Depression and how a girl from a privileged family dealt with and learned about others and how they were affected by the Depression.
Many of the Christian Historical Fiction books I read are overly naive or sweet. This one had just the right amount of realism thrown in to make it a good read.
I would like to see more from this author.
I was provided this book free from Bethany House Publishers. I was not paid for this review or required to give a positive opinion.
Recommended for high school age or older.
